OUR BACKSTORY

 Joel Thomas, JT to most, was the founder of Highway 1, starting the band in 2011 and passing away in 2021. He thought of himself as an entertainer first and a musician second, which was evident in the band‘s performances. He led the band playing at outdoor festivals, tiki bars, corporate events and Parrothead parties  for over a decade. His legacy and Highway 1 continues to this day. We miss our friend and band mate.
